Based in Houston, TX, Miller joins as the company’s Vice President of Information Governance. Miller’s legal career launched his interest in crafting robust information governance strategies, specifically defensible retention and disposition practices. Over the past 12 years, he has served as both in-house and outside counsel to several large oil and gas companies. Most notably, Miller served as Discovery Counsel for a multi-national oil and gas company connected to the Deepwater Horizon accident, where he was responsible for the coordination and management of the electronic discovery efforts at both the state and federal level. This experience gives Miller a unique perspective on the necessity of a robust information governance practice.
Strake will be responsible for business development. He is a seasoned entrepreneur and strategist who specializes in information governance solutions to develop defensible fit-for-purpose solutions to resolve client challenges related to data retention, remediation, migration, classification, and security. His experience spans diverse industries and technology platforms, resulting in an agnostic approach to developing best practices. Strake is based in Austin, TX, but services clients nationally.
