What is STIR/SHAKEN and why does it matter?

STIR/SHAKEN and call blocking are two highly current hot topics on the minds of outbound call center operators. And for good reason. STIR/SHAKEN is a set of industry regulations designed to limit robocalls. The new rules and procedures will have a huge impact on lead generation call centers due to the increased risks of call blocking. Call centers are concerned about whether they’ll still be able to reach new customers. The regulations will be fully implemented by July 2021, but call blocking has already begun.

Convoso has already implemented STIR/SHAKEN functionality into its contact center software and is making sure customers are ready for the July 2021 TCPA deadline.
