Comtrend Unveils the Versatile SFP Gateway for Service Providers
IRVINE, Calif. (PRWEB) April 19, 2018 -- Comtrend, a leading designer and manufacturer of advanced networking solutions, unveiled today the VR-3063— an all-in-one, AC2200 dual-band Wireless Gateway with integrated A/VDSL2, Gigabit Ethernet WAN, and an SFP port for wide deployment versatility.
The VR-3063’s SFP port allows Service Providers to use one unit for a multitude of deployment needs. This simplifies inventory management and allows for easy deployment transitions to Fiber, Active Ethernet, G.Fast, and more. All a Service Provider needs to do is insert the SFP module of their choice, rather than having to purchase a separate gateway for each connection type.

The VR-3063 is a TR-069-enabled VDSL2 Gateway with ASDL2+ fallback with a Gigabit Ethernet WAN and four additional Gigabit Ethernet ports. It boasts AC2200 dual-band Wireless with High-Power 400mW coverage, dynamic digital beamforming, and smart antenna technology for enhanced WiFi coverage and speed. The VR-3063 will feature Comtrend’s HARMONY technology, an integrated Whole-Home Wireless solution, in Q2, 2018.
