WASHINGTON, Oct. 24, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- At the PRNEWS Platinum Awards gala in New York City on October 18, Concepts Communications took top honors for its work on the "Mental Health at Work: What Can I Do?" campaign, which won in the Campaign of the Year – Other category.
Developed on behalf of the U.S. Department of Labor-funded Campaign for Disability Employment, the "Mental Health at Work: What Can I Do?" campaign educates that, when it comes to promoting a mental health-friendly workplace, everyone within an organization has a role to play. It is framed around a powerful public service announcement (PSA) featuring four real people, including a CEO, manager, co-worker and person who identifies as having a mental condition.

In addition to various versions of the PSA, including in Spanish and accessible formats, the campaign includes a range of materials business leaders, employee resource groups and others can use to raise awareness about mental health in their own workplaces and facilitate discussions about collaborative approaches to workplace wellbeing. These include a long-form video that dives deeper into the topic and a poster and workplace guide.
