Connor Sport Court International Hosts Marines' Toys for Tots Distribution in Salt Lake City
Salt Lake City, Utah (PRWEB) December 18, 2016 -- Connor Sport Court International (CSCI) hosted a U.S. Marines’ Toys for Tots distribution for hundreds of families from the Salt Lake City community today.
Sgt. Cody Dohse from the Marines’ Fort Douglas in Salt Lake City and Connor Sport Court International representatives, including CEO Ron Cerny and HR Manager Cindy Chatwin, were on hand for the distribution along with Chatwin’s son Joey Feliciano.
Feliciano, Chatwin’s 28 year-old intellectually disabled son who works at Fort Douglas, thought of the idea of to use a portion of the 160,000 square-foot CSCI warehouse as a distribution site for the 2016 Marine’s Toys for Tots program in Salt Lake City and made it happen!
“We are so pleased to have had the opportunity to partner with the Marine’s 2016 Toys for Tots program, and today’s distribution of toys to families from the Salt Lake City community is something that has been extremely rewarding for our staff during this holiday season,” said Ron Cerny, Connor Sport Court International CEO.
ABOUT THE MARINES’ TOYS FOR TOTS PROGRAM
The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to underserved children that will motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders. The objectives of Toys for Tots are to help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas; to play an active role in the development of one of our nation’s most valuable resources – our children; to unite all members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign and to contribute to better communities in the future.
