Constructech Announces the 2015 Constructech 50
Carol Stream, Ill. (PRWEB) July 07, 2015 -- A closer look at the state of the technology market in construction—including a resurgence of M&As (mergers and acquisitions), cloud and mobile advances, and more, shows technology in construction is changing.
This change is evident in Constructech’s annual Constructech 50 list, which was announced today. Only 13 companies have remained on the list since it began in 2009. While that number might seem small, an in-depth look at the market shows this is due to a changing landscape.
Companies on the Constructech 50 represent the leading technology powerhouses that are dominating the construction landscape.
Every year, the Constructech editors spend months researching hundreds of companies, seeking company financials, conducting interviews with construction companies, and consulting with the editorial advisory board to determine the leaders. Some of the criteria include: having a strong product/service aimed at the construction industry, evaluating the ongoing customer satisfaction and growth, and providing outreach and educational efforts in the industry, among others.
“This year’s Constructech 50 is different from any list we have previously unveiled,” says Peggy Smedley, editorial director, Constructech magazine. “The companies that earned this year’s designation prove they have a vision for the future of technology, which ultimately will result in dollars earned, not just saved, for the construction industry.”
