Constructech Reveals the 2019 Constructech Women in Construction
CAROL STREAM, Ill. (PRWEB) June 27, 2019 -- Even as the number of women in the construction industry continues to remain at roughly 9%, the women in the space are making some noise, proving they are innovative, passionate, tech-savvy, and working to make the industry a better place. Recognizing these women, Constructech magazine announces the 2019 Women in Construction.
In its fifth year, this list recognizes the women who are the most successful women working within the construction industry, aptly leveraging technology, all while working on some of the most successful projects in the world.
Each year, Constructech magazine receives nearly a hundred nominations, in addition to researching additional women in the space. The winners are then chosen by a group of former winners as well as the editorial team.
“The Women in Construction are true examples of stalwartness in an industry that is primarily dominated by men,” says Peggy Smedley, editorial director of Constructech magazine and president of Specialty Publishing Media. “These forward-thinking women are aspiring for more than just paycheck. What makes them truly stand out is how they inspire all women to persevere and are dedicated to helping the industry thrive as a whole. I am so pleased to be recognizing them for their successes.”
