BOCA RATON, Fla., July 8, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Contemporary Ceramic Studios Association (CCSA), a not-for-profit trade association that serves ceramic and Paint Your Own Pottery (PYOP) studios and suppliers worldwide, will be holding its Annual Convention in Buffalo, NY from September 13-16, 2019.
PYOP studio owners and suppliers from around the world will gather at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center to enjoy four days of learning, inspiration, exhibits, business and technical education (including pre-convention sessions), networking, shopping, ideas, techniques, trends, friends, raffles, fun, food and more.
The event will also feature a keynote lunch-and learn session on September 15 by acclaimed entrepreneur and author Mike Michalowicz, and a "Great Shapes Auction" of CCSA-member created artwork.
All proceeds from the silent auction will be donated to Make-a-Wish® Western New York, which each year grants more than 100 wishes to children and teenagers across the Greater Western New York Region who have been diagnosed with a critical illness. Last year, the Great Shapes Auction held at the CCSA Annual Convention in St. Charles, MO raised more than $16,000 for Believe Big, a charitable organization that seeks to bridge the gap between conventional and complementary medicine for fighting cancer, and provide patients with hope, help and healing.
