Continental National Bank Aces First Session of “Grow Entrepreneurship Program”
MIAMI, FL. (PRWEB) December 10, 2015 -- Continental National Bank, Miami’s premier community provider of financial services for small businesses and entrepreneurs, successfully concluded the first session of its GROW Entrepreneurship Program, an intensive business education initiative introduced to help local professionals grow their businesses. A closing ceremony was held on December 9th at the bank’s Little Havana branch to commemorate the occasion.
Developed in conjunction with Miami Bayside Foundation (MBF), Pino Global Entrepreneurship Center and Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Florida International University (FIU), the GROW Entrepreneurship Program seeks to inspire and engage the next generation of Miami business leaders. The program’s main objective is to foster community growth through facilitating access to key educational and networking resources. Qualifying professionals may also enroll in a competitive small business loan program, courtesy of MBF.
GROW’s first training session, held from October 13th through December 9th, counted with the participation of more than one dozen local entrepreneurs. Enrollees had the opportunity to develop strategic business plans with the guidance of experienced SBDC mentors. Each plan presented reflected an advanced understanding of trend analysis, goal benchmarking, and technology concepts covered throughout the course of the program’s seven-week curriculum.
“The GROW Entrepreneurship program was an enlightening experience, and a great opportunity to meet other like-minded business owners in a beautiful and comfortable setting”, comments Cristina Serralta, Owner of Amazon Services Inc., and GROW alumnus.
Continental National Bank is now actively accepting applications for GROW’s second session. To review eligibility criteria, and to learn more about how interested small business owners can apply, please visit https://www.continentalbank.com/grow
