ControlCase Certifies National Bank of Egypt (NBE) for PCI DSS

ControlCase was engaged by NBE as the official Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) to provide Certification and Professional Services required to achieve Compliance with PCI DSS Version 2.0.
PCI DSS is a global security standard that helps to prevent card and data fraud by evaluating payment account data security and assessing an organization’s network architecture, software design, security policies, procedures and protective practices.
The environment was complex, working on systems ranging from legacy to the most modern. There were multi authorizing and issuance systems with several supporting applications and a huge network of branches, ATMs and POS all over Egypt. NBE received the certificate following a successful audit earlier this year. This achievement proves ControlCase capability to undertake any complex environment and satisfy customer expectations without compromising compliance requirements.
