Converge Consulting Announces Internship Program for Summer 2016
Cedar Rapids, IA (PRWEB) December 07, 2015 -- Converge Consulting is excited to announce a formal internship program that will prepare college students for the workforce. This full-time, 65-day paid internship will give students hands-on experience in the latest digital marketing practices while expanding their professional skills and enhancing their resumes.
“After working with hundreds of colleges and universities across the U.S., we know that experiential learning opportunities are an essential part of the college experience,” said Ann Oleson, CEO at Converge. “We’re delighted to provide these opportunities as we develop future talent.”
During the first four weeks of the program, students will spend their mornings focusing on professional development with the company’s CEO and president. Afternoons will be spent shadowing and learning from Converge’s experienced digital strategists.
The second half of the summer program allows students to focus on their area of interest – content marketing, digital advertising, website design and architecture or measurement through analytics. During this time, interns will get hands-on experience using real-world tools like Moz, marketing automation software, and CMS and CRM platforms. They’ll leave the program with a robust professional resume and an understanding of their talents through the StrengthsFinder assessment.
