Cooperative Systems, a managed technology services provider, was recently named number one in the Best Places to Work in Connecticut competition, sponsored by The Hartford Business Journal.

The Hartford Business Journal recently announced the winners of its 2020 Best Places to Work competition, and to be eligible for consideration, companies must have had a total of 15 or more employees working in the state of Connecticut. The program required organizations to go through a workplace assessment process, including surveys from employees, and an inventory of the company benefits, policies and offerings. The result of this competition was the process of a survey completed and vetted by the Best Companies Group, a third-party research firm based out of Harrisburg, Penn. The competition was open to all public or privately-held organizations in Connecticut, either for-profit or not-for-profit.

Since its launch in November of 1993, Cooperative Systems has remained committed to its core values because of its people and dedication to personal development and skills development. “Our company is running on all cylinders, and it’s because of our people,” said Bob DeLisa, founder and CEO.

“The key to our growth has been attracting and retaining highly skilled engineers, salespeople and service staff despite Connecticut’s tight tech job market,” said President Scott Spatz. “It’s very difficult to retain the talent if you don’t provide ways to grow along with a great culture,” DeLisa said.
