Real Estate, a new boutique real estate company servicing residential home buyers and sellers throughout Palm Beach County, has opened. The company held a ribbon cutting and opening party at their renovated office space in the heart of Antique Row at 3631 S Dixie Hwy in West Palm Beach, Florida on Thursday, October 8th, 2015.
The ribbon cutting was attended by Ambassadors from the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches, as well as city of West Palm Beach staff including City Commissioner Paula Ryan.
The residential real estate market in Palm Beach County is strong, and this Copeland & Co. is taking advantage of the trend. Prices are up roughly 9% year-over-year, according to the latest monthly data released by the Realtors Association of Palm Beach County, the industry's trade group.
In addition, median days on market, a standard metric indicative of how tight home inventory is, was only 22 days.

Big real estate brokerages are still common, but the attraction among Realtors is wavering. Same goes for the waning popularity of the "thrift model", in which brokerages offer little or no services to their agents in exchange for a reduced commission split. Tom Copeland, Vice President of Business Development and co-founder of Copeland & Co., says both models are losing their appeal among real estate agents.
