PHOENIX, Jan. 10, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- CorePower Yoga, America's leading yoga studio, is expanding its presence in the greater Phoenix area in February with a new studio opening in North Scottsdale's Sonora Village. This will be the sixth location for the company in the region, making it even more convenient for students to experience the community, consistency in practice, and the variety of classes offered at CorePower Yoga's fitness studios.
The North Scottsdale studio, operated by franchisee Level 4 Yoga, will be open seven days a week with classes offered throughout the day, beginning at 6 a.m. and ending at 8 p.m. The studio space is approximately 4,500 square feet and will be equipped with two large studios and a men's and women's locker room. Five class formats will be offered including CorePower Yoga 1, CorePower Yoga 2, Hot Power Fusion, Yoga Sculpt and CoreRestore. Formats range in style, difficulty and flow to fit every experience level. All classes are designed to fire up strength, ignite intention and build the core.
The other five CorePower Yoga studios are located in Old Town Scottsdale, Central Phoenix, Chandler, Tempe and Paradise Valley. CorePower Yoga Black Tag members are able to practice at any of the studios in the Phoenix area, as well as the 200 CorePower Yoga studios around the country.

The North Scottsdale CorePower Yoga is located at 15740 N. Pima Road and will offer free classes during its preview period from Feb. 1 through Feb. 10. Beyond the preview period, new students always receive their first week of classes free allowing them to sample the different formats offered. Additionally, for only $9, the Phoenix studios offer a two-week deal that includes a yoga mat for all new students.
"Our preview period is a great time for interested students to try our classes and experience the variety of workouts we offer. Everyone comes to yoga for different reasons and we have something for everybody," said Collier. "In addition, they get to observe the community they will become a part of, and experience how our instructors provide consistency and accountability in their practice."
In the weeks leading up to the new studio opening, CorePower Yoga will host a series of free events to allow yoga fans to meet teachers and sample CorePower formats. Classes will be offered on January 13, 20, and 27 at 10:30 a.m. at the Westin Kierland Resort in North Scottsdale. The free yoga classes will take place outdoors on the Marshall's Outpost Lawn.
