Cornerstone of Hope to Host 6th Annual Golf Scramble
Columbus, Ohio (PRWEB) June 21, 2016 -- Cornerstone of Hope, a nonprofit that serves grieving families in Central Ohio, will host its sixth annual golf scramble on Saturday, August 13th, 2016. This event will be hosted by sports commentator Bruce Hooley and Columbus’ hometown television and radio personality Shawn Ireland. The fundraiser will take place at the Cumberland Trail & Golf Club, 8244 Columbia Road SW, Pataskala, OH 43062. Check-in for the event will begin at 7:15 a.m. and Shot-gun start will be at 8:00 a.m.
The funds raised through this event will benefit Cornerstone of Hope’s bereavement programs and services and donations are tax-deductible. According to Cornerstone of Hope Executive Director Mark Tripodi, "This is one of our signature fundraising events to assist us in providing comprehensive professional grief programs and services to those seeking support after the loss of a loved one." There are various golfer registration packages, which include cart, breakfast and lunch. The packages range from $150 – $5,000 with the top sponsorship including eight golfer admissions.
This event also includes several sponsorship packages for individuals and businesses. There will be signage available on our Memory Lane green to honor those we have lost. There will also be opportunities to sponsor the cookout, specific holes, beverages, and contests. These packages ranges from a Memory Lane sponsorship for $50, to a contest sponsorship of $1,000.
Immediately following golf, lunch will be served to all participants. At this time, prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers for the day.
Throughout the day, there will be several contests held for achievements such as the longest, closest to the pin, longest putt and more. These contests will also have prizes associated with them. A silent auction with items such as tickets to an Ohio State game will be available.

The deadline for registration is July 29, 2016, although space for participates is limited. This event will take place rain or shine.
