Corra Group Now Offers Its SwiftHire Application to Trucking and Transportation Companies in Need of Motor Vehicle Driving Records
Corra Group's SwiftHire application offers ease of use to trucking companies in need for motor vehicle driving record background checks, even for truckers operating remotely.
EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Jan. 28, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Corra Group is now offering SwiftHire to trucking and transportation companies who for DOT mandates and other necessities are in need of Motor Vehicle Driving Records (MVRS) for their job applicants and current staff.
"The Department of Transportation has certain mandates where trucking companies must run their driving records on both employment candidates and current drivers," said Corra Group Co-Founder, Nick Gustavson. "Aside from the mandates, the MVR is a vital background check to assure a commercial driver is not out on the road with a suspended license, or with violations that render them of compliance with the DOT.
"Any driver who is out of compliance, can create serious liability issues, including the regulatory authorities suspending the companies business operations," said Gustavson. "To help a business remain compliant, in addition to its usual service, Corra Group is offer its SwiftHire application so that drivers can remotely order their own MVRS. The company safety director will then have the ability to review the order, making sure all the vital data is accurate, before ordering and incurring the transactional fee."
Gustavson offered that Corra Group can service Motor Vehicle Driving Records and various trucking background checking packages for all fifty states, plus Canada and Puerto Rico. He noted that for certain states, special handling is required and as such there will be additional fees and there is a volume requirement. He added that in most states, when ordered manually, MVRS results return in about a minute or so.
SwiftHire is a feature where if a driver is on the road, he can receive an emailed link from the safety director," said Gustavson. "He can enter the required date, typically name, date of birth, license number and state the license is issued. SwiftHire automatically captures the driver's authorization form, and all that is left is for the safety director to review and press order.
"We remind anyone who plans to order MVRS through SwiftHire, there is an additional fee per MVR to use this application," said Gustavson. "The safety director who whoever does the ordering is solely responsible for the accuracy of the data they send over the interface. This is principally a self-service application. As such, it offers easy access to MVRS, even to drivers who are out on the road. Some companies will find this application a valuable asset."
