Corra Group Renews Lease for Its El Segundo, California Office Headquarters

The employment screening and background checking service has been operating out of its 201 Continental Boulevard space for three years, after moving from its offices, in Venice, California.

Gustavson pointed out that El Segundo contains one of the prominent aero-space and defense industry office parks in Southern California. He listed such immediate neighbors as Raytheon, Boeing, and Northrup Grumman, as well as Mattel, and Stamps.com.
“Corra Group offers services to clients nationally and internationally, but we also try to maintain a local focus,” said Gustavson. “One special area of service is we provide background checks for defense industry and various government contracts. We offer the government compliance packages as well as a la carte background searches. Gustavson noted that many new media and traditional entertainment companies are moving into the El Segundo or taking offices in what is now commonly referred to as the Silicon Beach. “Sometimes the entertainment companies and advertising agencies find themselves with special needs,” said Gustavson. “With them come the private equity and investment groups. When these people want to talk to you, it is easy to schedule a meeting.”
Gustavson noted that there was no real consideration that Corra Group would be moving out of El Segundo. “It’s a great place to work,” said Gustavson. “The City of El Segundo is accommodating and appreciative we have chosen this town to headquarter our business. Let’s face it; you can do a lot worse than setting up shop just a couple miles from the beach.”
