NEW SOUTH WALES, Australia, Dec. 9, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Author Rebecca Kaye shares her personal experiences of what life was like as a Eurasian girl living in China during World War II. "Where Tigers Flew" is her personal memoir recalling her life during a historic time and how she was discriminated against by both Eastern and Western cultures due to her mixed heritage.
"Where Tigers Flew" provides readers insight into Kaye's personal ties and real-life experiences throughout an oppressive time in history through stories of escape, love, disappointment and sacrifice. The name of the book was inspired by Kaye's admiration for the Flying Tigers, a group that began as volunteers and ultimately became a group of American recruit pilots. This group played a huge role in the war and were eventually named part of the U.S. Airforce in 1943.
"Although I have endured challenging moments throughout my life, one thing has remained constant: Hope," Kaye said. "I want my book to inspire readers to never give up hope."
"Where Tigers Flew" weaves Kaye's personal connections and experiences with history throughout the book to provide readers with a compelling World War II story.
