Courier . market | bar | kitchen is now serving its weekend brunch menu, available Saturdays and Sundays from 11am until 2pm. Courier has made a name for itself at its 17th and Welton Streets downtown Denver location serving classic dishes, but with a modern twist. On the brunch menu, guests can expect breakfast favorites like chilaquiles and steak & eggs, but in true Courier form, there are some unexpected twists on traditional classics: the corned beef hash features local bison pastrami and the eggs benedict is served on a freshly-griddled cornbread waffle.
As a nod to Denver’s pioneer spirit and its historic location on the site of one of the city’s first newspapers, Courier’s décor features pieces from the golden age of news. An original wooden desk that doubles as a host stand, serves as a reminder of the stories written on its weathered surface. High-back booths, glass windows and desk task lamps inspire conversation. Movable walls and two private dining rooms have the ability to create custom spaces to meet specific needs.
“The unique concept for this restaurant challenged us to develop a new and different approach to the dining experience while engaging the guest in Denver as well. We enjoyed the creative aspect of bringing the classic cuisine, the theme, the décor and the destination together,” says Grand Hyatt Denver General Manager, Mark Stiebeling.
The full brunch menu is available here and guests are welcome to make a reservation by visiting Opentable or calling (303) 603-4171.
