2014 Salt Lake Magazine Dining Awards Honor the Best Restaurants in Utah
Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) March 04, 2014 -- Salt Lake Magazine Dining Awards, sponsored by Cowans Restaurant Solutions and 13 other sponsors, recognized the best restaurants in Utah on Feb. 18 at their annual awards ceremony and reception.
“No Utahn or tourist should ever wonder where to eat in this dynamic city of food,” Cowans Restaurant Solutions President Jason Cowan said. “The Salt Lake Magazine Dining Awards is a complete road map to a foodie paradise.”
Founded in 1974, event sponsor Cowans Restaurant Solutions has helped open thousands of restaurants and retail outlets, throughout the United States and is dedicated to supporting a thriving restaurant community in Utah. These awards, supported by Cowans Restaurant Solutions, recognized the talent, creativity and delicious delights in restaurants across Salt Lake City, Park City, Provo and Orem. Winners were selected by Mary Brown Malouf, the editor of Salt Lake Magazine, along with a team of local food experts who spent the past year grading restaurants around Salt Lake City.
“Salt Lake restaurants are going to the next level of sophistication, taste and menu diversity,” said Cowan. “This is the second consecutive year that Cowans Restaurant Solutions has sponsored the Dining Awards. The Dining Awards are annual and varied. The award categories include: Best Restaurant, Best Discovery, Best Wine List, Community Service, Best New Restaurant, Best Comfort Food, Best Chinese, Best Italian, Best Middle Eastern/Mediterranean, Best Indian, Best Japanese, Best Mexican, Best Breakfast/Brunch, Best Lunch, Best Bakery and Best Neighborhood Restaurant.
Caffé Niche received the Best Breakfast award, Fresco received the Best Italian Award, Layla was awarded Best Middle Eastern/Mediterranean, and Liberty Heights Fresh went home with the Community Service Award.
