CPAmerica’s Accounting & Auditing Conference Registration Opens Before Tax Season Begins
Gainesville, Fla. (PRWEB) January 19, 2015 -- As accounting firms are gearing up for tax season, their busiest time of year, CPAs are looking forward to connecting with their peers and fulfilling their requirement of continuing professional education while staying at a great hotel, in a great city.
CPAmerica International will offer its members that and much more by opening registration early for the Accounting & Auditing Conference that will be held in Austin, Texas.
“In an effort to allow attendees to be able to register before getting active in tax season, registration is now open for our members’ convenience,” said Alan Deichler, president of CPAmerica. “This way, CPAs can make their professional development plans before the busy season begins.”
Even though other conferences are offered in several different formats around the country every year, CPAmerica members know that their exclusive conferences are different. This is what keeps them coming back for more.
Members are given the platform to develop close-knit groups and professional relationships throughout the year. These friendships are reinforced during the conferences. They can call each other to discuss important business decisions or just to catch up; and many members do.
As the association heads to the Lone Star State, the 2015 Accounting & Auditing Conference has a schedule packed with all-star speakers, member sharing and several networking opportunities.
Speakers include: Gale Crosley, Crosley+Company; Jim Woy, Loscalzo Associates; Wayne Kerr, AuditWatch; Roberto Coronado, Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas; Art Winstead, DMJ & Co., PLLC, and CPAmerica International; Randy Johnston, NMGI; Billy Atkinson, Private Company Council; Art Kuesel, Kuesel Consulting.
This year, the Accounting & Auditing Conference is offering two optional pre-conference opportunities the day before the conference on Tuesday, June 23. Back by popular demand, Jim Woy will lead the Yellow Book pre-conference opportunity, and Gale Crosley will offer a Trusted Advisor Strategy Workshop on growing client relationships and revenue.
There are various member sharing sessions that will be spread throughout the conference’s program. These sessions allow members to share their best practices and their successes and failures, without fear of disclosing industry secrets with their competitors. Members have continuously said that their member sharing is often the most valuable aspects of their entire membership.
The conference will be held on June 24-26 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Austin, coinciding with the 2015 Technology Roundtable that is also open for registration. For more information, contact: events(at)cpamerica(dot)org.
