Cranberry Peak’s ezCDS Technology is Available from within ADS’s MedicsCloud EHR

In these challenging times we are confident that our combined solution will help providers easily deploy and implement evidence-based medicine at the point of care.

Cranberry Peak, a leading provider of conversational interfaces and clinical decision support (CDS) artificial intelligence (AI) technology announced today a strategic collaboration with Advanced Data Systems Corporation (ADS). Cranberry Peak's ezCDS option is integrated and available with ADS’s MedicsCloud EHR, and will be as well for ADS clients who use the MedicsDocAssistant EHR.

ezCDS is a CMS-qualified clinical decision support mechanism (CDSM) for the Appropriate Use Criteria (AUC) Program, supporting the implementation of Protecting Access to Medicare Act of 2014 (PAMA). Specifically, under the AUC program, physicians will be required to consult a CDSM prior to issuing advanced diagnostic imaging orders. In addition to facilitating evidence-based medicine and standards of care at the point of care, ezCDS is also transforming user experience in healthcare and reducing physician burnout by introducing the first AI digital assistant serving ordering physicians, with a voice and conversational interface. ezCDS supports modern interoperability standards with FHIR and CDS Hooks state of the art technology.

David Barzillai, President of ADS said, “Since 1977, ADS clients have relied on our Medics solutions to maximize revenue and efficiency while eliminating bottlenecks and logjams. Our MedicsCloud EHR’s click-fee, voice navigated architecture is now greatly enhanced with ezCDS’s clinical decision support platform. ADS clients will be able to confidently order advanced imaging studies now, and certainly in advance of CMS’s deadline for requiring the use of a CDSM.”

Cranberry Peak’s Founder and CEO, Neculai Archip, PhD, MBA, said, “We are thrilled to work with the ADS team, given their customer focus, excellence, agility, and common sense approach to automation. In these challenging times we are confident that our combined solution will help providers easily deploy and implement evidence-based medicine at the point of care. We are working hard to streamline clinical workflow, to optimize ease of use, and to re-invent the user experience in healthcare. Cranberry Peak focuses on reducing the administrative burden for physicians, giving them more time to spend with their patients.”
