Clifton Park, NY (PRWEB) August 15, 2013 -- Internet Marketing Ninjas is pleased to announce the fifteenth anniversary of its premier website community, Cre8asiteforums. Founded by Kim Krause Berg in August of 1998, as a small club and re-launched in August of 2002 to include full-fledged forums, the community has developed into a popular place for website owners to network, ask questions, and get skilled assistance from other Internet marketing and SEO professionals.
Krause Berg has been actively involved in the community since its conception. “In the mid-1990s, there were very few credible websites from which to get accurate information on web design and search engine optimization (SEO),” explained Krause Berg.
“I was a single mother of two young children, working full-time as a webmaster for a computer magazine publisher. I was assigned first to convert their magazine about the Internet into a website and promote it in search engines. A year later, I had a dozen websites to maintain and promote. I started Cre8pc.com as my own little database of resources, and then the Cre8pc Website Promotion Club, to share proven techniques and teach others. Cre8asiteforums had a very humble beginning.”
This labor of love grew into a collection of thriving forums hosted and moderated by volunteers, some of which are prominent “thought leaders” within the SEO community. "Cre8asiteforums wouldn't be here if it weren't for the incredible moderators and technical administrators who donated their time to helping me all these years,” credits Krause Berg. “Today, the moderating staff is small, because the community is largely self-governed. It's a truly dedicated community of generous people from all over the world."
Cre8asiteforums continues to break ground by offering forums related to website usability, accessibility, user experience, and the business-side of website ownership, in addition to its popular search engine marketing forums. To further support the needs of the community, Cre8asiteforums also offers a free Website Hospital to facilitate feedback and user-testing of websites. Over the course of its 15 year history, the community has continually valued the sharing of knowledge, as is evidenced by their previous efforts to raise funds for books, courses, an internship program, and other industry-related, educational opportunities.
In October of 2012, Cre8asiteforums was acquired by Jim Boykin, founding CEO of Internet Marketing Ninjas (IMN). Along with the acquisition, Krause Berg joined the IMN executive leadership team as their Usability and User Interface Analyst. “I feel lucky and honored to be able to assist Kim in taking Cre8asiteforums to whole new levels over the next 15 years,” said Boykin. “Congratulations, Cre8asiteforums, there are so many people who have contributed over the years to make the community such a great resource for online marketers.”
Krause Berg continues to be actively involved with Cre8asiteforums as the website administrator and, alongside Boykin, anticipates continued growth and development of the popular community. Leveraging their strong background and industry insight, Boykin and Krause Berg have worked collaboratively to facilitate opportunities to engage the community by adding free tools, a newsletter, blog, private forums for longstanding community members, and Google Hangouts.
