The Crimson Cup Coffee Truck makes its public debut Tuesday, June 4 at Wake Up With the Commons. Every Tuesday in June, the truck will serve coffee, mochas, lattes and more from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the John H. Wolfe Columbus Commons, 160 South High Street in Columbus, Ohio.

The distinctive steely gray food truck with crimson accents has been serving coffee and breakfast treats in the private parking lots of local businesses and hospitals for the past few weeks.
"It's amazing to see the demand for our mobile coffee," said Coffee Truck Ambassador Susan McMillan. "We've been mobbed by thirsty coffee drinkers wherever we go."
Beginning June 4, the Crimson Cup Coffee Truck will caffeinate the breakfast food truck court at Wake Up with the Commons. From 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. each Tuesday in June, downtown diners can score a grab-and-go breakfast at the John H. Wolfe Columbus Commons, 160 South High Street in Columbus.
The Crimson Cup Food Truck serves hot and iced espresso drinks – including mochas, lattes and cappuccinos – as well as iced tea, cold-brewed coffee, hot chocolate and other custom drinks. An assortment of muffins and oatmeal rounds out the standard menu. Drink prices range from $2.50 for drip coffee to $5.00 for mochas and other specialty drinks.
McMillian noted that the menu is both flexible and evolving. "We are happy to customize based on the weather and customer preferences," she said. "We're also planning to offer Nitro cold brew and pour-overs as options in the coming months."
Crimson Cup Founder and President Greg Ubert said the company developed the coffee truck to enhance local brand awareness and to provide an example for customers who wanted to launch a coffee business from a food truck.

To create the coffee food truck, Crimson Cup bought a used truck and converted it inside and out to support what Ubert calls 'the dance' – the efficient creation of a perfect espresso-based drink without a single wasted motion.
