COLUMBUS, Ohio, Sept. 30, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Looking to up your coffee game? Try your hand at coffee roasting at Crimson Cup's Roasting Fundamentals class! The Oct. 15 class takes place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Crimson Cup Innovation Lab, 700 Alum Creek, just south of Bexley.
The only SCA Premier Training Campus in Ohio, the Crimson Cup Innovation Lab offers a space for consumers and coffee professionals to learn about awesome coffee. Courses cover everything from coffee origins to roast level, grind, brewing techniques, drink preparation and more.

Roasting Fundamentals takes place Wednesday, October 15, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Designed for home roasters and craft beverage enthusiasts, this class allows students to examine green coffee and dive into basics of coffee roasting.
Participants will roast their own coffee on sample and production roasters. Instructors will discuss basic organic chemistry to describe the roasting curve. Each participant will leave with a bag of coffee they have roasted.
