PRINCETON, N.J., Oct. 23, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Critical Links, the leader in micro-cloud solutions for e-learning, today announced its expansion into the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) region. The efforts will be headed by the company's new regional representative, Azam Khan, who will be based in Kuala Lumpur. The company is seeing increased interest in the deployment of C3 Micro-Clouds throughout the region in urban and rural schools, due to the ability to provide quality e-learning even in infrastructure-challenged environments.
The ASEAN, a trade-driven block of 10 Southeast Asian nations, has gained tremendous momentum in recent years and is now home to some of the world's fastest growing emerging markets. Its combined gross domestic product (GDP) of US $2.4 trillion makes it the third largest economy in Asia and the seventh largest, globally. One of the greatest challenges faced by the region is developing a future workforce that can compete on the global stage, and educational infrastructure must be addressed in order to fulfill this objective.

In the Philippines, the C3 Micro-Cloud has significantly improved outcomes in the areas of attendance, promotion and retention; since the technology program was introduced, the average National Achievement Test scores have increased by 24 percent. In Myanmar, Critical Links micro-clouds were deployed in rural schools supporting over 30,000 students and 310 teachers, with similar positive results.
The C3 Micro-Cloud is already in use in more than 55 countries globally reaching almost 3 million students, especially in schools where infrastructure and connectivity challenges normally keep students from benefitting from e-Learning and global knowledge paradigms.
