The "Chandler the Crocodile" book takes families through Chandler's journey to self-love as he endures the realities of being the only crocodile at his new school.
Chandler quickly discovers that his sharp teeth, long tail, and leathery skin contrast his classmates: the furry bears. He makes several attempts to form a bond by showing off his talents (per his Mom's advice) but fails epically. Chandler's fate changes when he finally acts instinctually, opening himself up to make a friend and cherish his unique gifts.
