WASHINGTON (PRWEB) November 09, 2018
Pype announces a new enterprise agreement with Crossland Construction, a prolific general contractor based in Columbus, Kansas, for use of Pype AutoSpecs on projects nationwide.
Crossland Construction will begin implementing Pype AutoSpecs on their projects beginning Q4 2018. AutoSpecs generates detailed submittal logs so project teams can keep their finger on all aspects of a project, such as mock-ups, QA/QC requirements, and more. Logs will be generated in a matter of minutes, instead of weeks of manual searching, copying, and pasting. The Crossland Construction team is excited to reallocate precious man-hours to more valuable tasks with the time savings Pype provides.
“While reviewing our processes and software, we determined that the submittal process is one upon which we need to improve. It is our policy to have all critical shop drawings approved within 30 days of the owner contract and all other submittals approved within 90 days. When you’re building a submittal register and managing the workflow of submitted items manually, it’s sometimes difficult to get it all done in that time frame while also getting the rest of the project off the ground. We are excited to get Kahua rolled out to manage the submission workflow process, and to have Pype AutoSpecs available to our project management teams to enhance the process.” said Amanda Burns, Kahua Administrator for Crossland.
Crossland is implementing Kahua project management software beginning in November and Pype recently completed an integration with Kahua for their AutoSpecs solution. This integration helped move forward Crossland’s decision to partner with Pype. They are looking forward to an immediate return in the form of time savings, and long term returns in the form of accessible, highly detailed and accurate submittal logs that help mitigate contract risk throughout the project lifecycle.
“We are committed to expanding our integration partnerships with project management platforms that serve our clients, so we are excited to see Crossland come on board to utilize the Kahua integration we put in place earlier this year,” said Karuna Ammireddy, CTO of Pype.
Crossland is a consistently recognizable name on the Engineering News-Record Magazine’s Top 100 Largest U.S. Builders List. They join numerous other top, nationally ranked companies that use Pype AutoSpecs to increase the quality and efficiency of projects for all involved stakeholders.
