CruiseVoyant.com Soon to Feature New Cruise Ships and Itineraries
Fort Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) July 23, 2014 -- Cruise Voyant, an online cruise booking website, will soon display new cruise ships and itineraries online from major cruise lines. Slated to take place in 2016, Carnival Cruise Lines, Seabourn and Holland America Line have ships scheduled for release.
“Although the ships haven’t made their debut just yet, we are currently working on implementing them into our site,” said Brandon Simpson, CTO at Cruise Voyant. “Our experts take the utmost care in researching and providing content regarding updates in the cruising world, whether it’s new cruise ships, itineraries, and other information we deem essential. Cruise Voyant’s functionalities for the booking engine and technology are created with updates in mind to remain flexible for such changes.”
This is big news for Carnival, as its newest ship was the 2012’s Carnival Breeze. The new cruise ship, the Carnival Vista, will debut in December 2016 with the Fun Ship 2.0 enhancements and other novelties specific to the particular ship. In addition, Seabourn’s new cruise ship is the newest to debut since 2011 and will be 26% larger than the other three Odyssey Class ships. Holland America’s unnamed ship will be the newest since the Nieuw Amsterdam in 2010.
It is also speculated that Carnival Corporation will place an order in August for two new cruise ships for 2017, although it is unknown which cruise line will receive the ships. Carnival Corporation currently owns Princess Cruises, Costa Cruises, P&O Cruises, P&O Cruises Australia, Holland America Line, Seabourn Cruise Line, Cunard Line, Ibero Cruises, Carnival Cruise Lines and AIDA Cruises.
Competitor cruise lines, Royal Caribbean, MSC Cruises and Norwegian Cruise Line, also have new cruise ships scheduled to debut between 2015-2017. The Norwegian Escape is scheduled for Fall 2015, the Bliss for Spring 2017 and two other unnamed ships will debut between 2018 and 2019. Royal Caribbean is expected to have a total of 17 ships by 2019. MSC Cruises have two unnamed ships arriving between 2017-2019, while Royal Caribbean will have its fourth Oasis-class ship slated to arrive in 2018. In addition, Costa Diadema from Costa Cruises will be making its debut in late October or November of this year and Regent Seven Seas’s Explorer will debut in summer 2016.
