Today we live in a world where the number of connected machines far outnumbers people on the planet. Attackers are moving beyond stealing human identities and are now targeting machine identities. Just like usernames and passwords authorize access to humans; keys and certificates act as machine identities that authorize and validate machine access to valuable data.
