Cryptohunt, a San Francisco-based ed-tech startup, is launching the "Duolingo for crypto", a website where newcomers can learn the building blocks of crypto.
SAN FRANCISCO, June 8, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- "Our users feel the tidal wave of a new financial system coming, but getting started without technical knowledge is extremely hard. They fear being left behind," says Christian Byza, CEO and co-founder of Cryptohunt. "Our friends kept asking us: How does crypto work, and what should we invest in? So we decided to build the product they all wanted: A destination to learn the language of crypto, and gain the knowledge to make their own, informed investment decisions."
"Web3 is more than just a technology. It has become a movement for a new generation to create change – towards a greener planet, fair opportunities, and inclusive financial systems," says Maria Alegre, Managing Partner at Flori Ventures. "It's exciting to see Cryptohunt launch and bring many more people into this new world."
What does Cryptohunt offer?
Cryptohunt gives users access to dozens of free courses, ranging from the history of blockchains all the way to understanding what makes each project unique. Through partnerships with crypto companies, Cryptohunt offers a "Learn and Earn" model for many of its lessons which reward learners with free tokens.
Launch Partnerships
"We are excited to be a launch partner of Cryptohunt", says Celo Foundation President Rene Reinsberg. "As we are onboarding the next billion people to web3 in the coming years, we need new, welcoming ways to educate people about what web3 offers. I see Cryptohunt as a great way for these products and protocols to tell their unique stories and grow their communities".
"For crypto to go mainstream, it is inevitable that a majority of people learn how it works, and what it can do for them," adds Amit Vasudev, GP at Earl Grey Capital & co-founder of Clearbit. "Cryptohunt solves this problem in a fun and interactive way, opening the world of web3 to everyone. We're excited about the launch and to be an investor."
Other notable launch partners include blockchains Avalanche and Near, and a16z-backed crypto wallet Valora.
