"With Cryptshare.express, we’ve made the same robust security measures typically enjoyed by larger organizations available to businesses with fewer than 25 employees."

Cryptshare, the German developer of data security and privacy solutions for the exchange of business-critical information, today announced the U.S. release of Cryptshare.express, a SaaS-based solution for SMBs who want a reliable, easy-to-use solution for secure transmission of large, encrypted files or email messages.

“Data Protection is a challenge faced by public and private entities of all shapes and sizes yet to date most of the secure data transfer solutions have focused on serving the large enterprise,” said Mark Forrest, CEO of Cryptshare. “With Cryptshare.express, we’ve made the same robust security measures typically enjoyed by larger organizations available to businesses with fewer than 25 employees.”

Due to the capacity limits on most email systems, employees who regularly or periodically need to share large files are tempted to use other tools such as USB sticks, consumer grade file sharing solutions or cloud services. The resulting use of unauthorized software in the enterprise, known as "shadow IT,” can quickly become an unregulated and unpredictable burden for any business.

As a SaaS-offering, Cryptshare.express allows for the secure transfer of files and messages without burdening businesses with the added time or expense of setting up a dedicated server. It integrates directly into a company's workflows via Office 365, Outlook or common web browsers and their browser integrations, allowing users to securely send and receive e-mails and large files – up to two GB – per transfer. All they need to get started using Cryptshare.express is an email address and a web browser.

“When faced with larger files or sensitive content, users want immediate access to a simple to use solution for sharing these files and protecting their sensitive information,” said Mark Forrest, CEO of Cryptshare. “Whether it is a periodic or regular part of their daily routine, Cryptshare.express gives users the instant gratification they seek while alleviating the security and IT concerns of the organization.

Cryptshare.express works with the patent-pending Cryptshare QUICK Technology™, a tangible IT-security solution that provides a permanent, secure connection for encrypted data transmission that anyone can use from anywhere at any time. Aside from making emails and files safer, QUICK can be used with a simple-to-implement JAVA and .NET API, facilitating secure communications between applications such as ERP and HR. QUICK can also be used by OEMs to enable secure machine-to-machine communications between IoT devices in security-conscious environments from healthcare to finance and manufacturing.

Cryptshare.express was launched in Europe in February 2019 and will be publicly available in the U.S. beginning in May. Demonstrations of Cryptshare.express will be available at the RSA Conference, March 4-8 in San Francisco, where the company is a co-exhibitor with TeleTrusT in the German Pavilion, booth 5671-23.
