Crystal is used by thousands of professionals in sales, marketing, recruiting, and management to identify other people's personalities through online assessments and by harnessing Personality AI, which uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to analyze publicly available data. Now, personality insights and communication coaching can be accessed within Slack as well.

Crystal can now be accessed within the Slack App Directory. Once installed, Crystal can be used within Slack to see personality profiles for co-workers and get communication guidance for everyday situations. For example, you can ask Crystal to suggest how to best share feedback with a coworker, set up a meeting with your boss, or even resolve a conflict within the office.
The Slack platform has been growing rapidly, with over 10 million daily active users and more than 85 thousand paid customers. Slack listed its shares publicly on June 20th and is now valued at nearly $20 billion.
To use Crystal within Slack, open a direct message with the new Crystal bot and type the command to view a personality profile or get specific communication advice. For example, if you wanted to provide feedback effectively to your colleague Lauren, you could say, "/crystal-coach I need to give @lauren feedback." If you get confused or forget a command, simply type "help" and the Crystal bot replies with a brief instructional overview.
The Crystal Slack integration is available free by installing it from the Slack App Directory and creating a Crystal account.
