AUSTIN, Texas, April 28, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- CSD Works announced today that it will be hosting its first Virtual Career Expo on May 2, 2020. The main goal of the free Expo is to connect deaf job seekers in Austin and throughout Texas with employers seeking more diverse and inclusive workforces. The CSD Works Virtual Career Expo will be held May 2 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. CST and will feature several prominent guest speakers, such as deaf business owner Trudy Suggs, as well as several presentations on job preparedness for job seekers, including: interview skills, resume building, cover letter writing, professional attire and potential job opportunities. Information on how to receive deaf-friendly training, consultation, American Sign Language classes, recruitment and placement practices for greater diversity, and workplace assessments will also be provided.
