The project was one of three finalists chosen by NASCIO in the Business Process Innovations category, which recognizes the use of IT to address critical business problems, improve business processes, and create new opportunities to improve the lives of citizens. The modernized system reshaped business processes and self-service options for Oregon drivers, vehicle owners and other business partners and stakeholders. The system provides Oregon's Driver and Motor Vehicle (DMV) Services agency with additional flexibility, allowing the State to adapt to changing laws and customer needs.
