Cubic Corporation Announces Corporate Officer Appointments
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (PRWEB) January 02, 2014 -- Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB) announced today that its Board of Directors named four executives as new officers of the corporation.
The new corporate officers are: Norman Bishop, vice president of Corporate Development; Keith Kellogg, vice president of Strategic Initiatives; Paul Ketchum, vice president of Accounting/Assistant Corporate Controller; and Julie Maloy, vice president of Corporate Tax.
The new members bring an abundance of professional achievements and backgrounds:
• Norman Bishop Since joining Cubic Corporation in March 2012, Bishop has taken a lead position in negotiating and closing five strategic acquisitions and has supported numerous corporate growth initiatives. Prior to Cubic, Bishop worked at BB&T Capital Markets as a senior vice president in the defense, technology and government services sector and as an associate at a global, strategic consulting firm. He is a graduate of Georgetown University and earned his Master's degree from Harvard University.
• Keith Kellogg previously served as president of Abraxas, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cubic. Prior to that position, he served as senior vice president of ground combat programs for Cubic’s defense business unit, Cubic Defense Systems, where he developed global business with the U.S. Defense Department and international customers. Prior to joining Cubic, Kellogg served in several executive assignments at CACI International and Oracle after retiring from the U.S. Army as a lieutenant general. During his 32-year military career, he served as director of C4 systems at the Pentagon and as principal adviser to the Joint Chiefs of Staff on military command and control. Other assignments include assistant Army chief of staff for operations; commanding general for the 82nd Airborne Division; and chief of Army combat development within the Training and Doctrine Command at Fort Monroe, Va. Kellogg is a graduate of Santa Clara University and earned a Master’s degree from Kansas University.
• Paul Ketchum has been the assistant controller for Cubic Corporation since 2011. From 1993 through 2011 he held progressively responsible positions with Ernst & Young, most recently as a Senior Manager of Assurance and Advisory Business Services. While with Ernst & Young Ketchum’s client base included multinational SEC Registrants, large private corporations, and venture capital backed development-stage companies. He led service delivery teams for over a billion dollars of public equity and debt offerings.
• Julie Maloy is vice president, Corporate Tax of Cubic Corporation. In this role, she is responsible for leading Cubic’s global tax strategy initiatives, financial and tax reporting, and overall tax risk management. Maloy is an international tax executive who has more than 25 years of experience. Before joining Cubic in April 2012, Maloy held the position of senior vice president, Corporate Tax for Callaway Golf Company. Maloy earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of San Diego and a master's degree in Taxation from San Diego State University.
