It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of our firm’s co-founder, Lonnie Peterson. Although he retired from C&P in 2016, the sound of Lonnie’s signature laugh could be heard long after his office was empty. If you ever met him, the impression he made was a lasting one.

Founding Cuhaci & Peterson in 1978, Lonnie made a tremendous impact in the commercial design industry, helping turn a one-man office into a nationally recognized architecture and engineering firm.

Many of you knew him through his connection to the commercial real estate industry and his long association with the International Council of Shopping Centers.

We offer our condolences to his wife, Karen, and his extended family. He will be missed and fondly remembered. As service information becomes available, we will honor the family’s wishes in our announcements.
