St. Armands: New Culinary Tour for Sarasota Tourists and History Buffs
Sarasota, FL (PRWEB) February 23, 2016 -- Foodies and Sarasota Tourists; explore St. Armands with new Key Culinary Tours.
In a recently launched tour, Sarasota locals and tourists can get a behind-the-scenes peek at St. Armands Circle. Take a guided stroll through unique Ringling Bros. Circus-related history, meet top local chefs and taste special dishes prepared just for the intimate 3-hour walking tour. From the famous 1905 salad to authentic key lime pie, the treats will leave taste buds tingling.
Created by Key Culinary Tours, the experience features discounts at shops and tastes at restaurants, including Cuban, Greek, tropical and beach-inspired fare. The tour is already ranked a 5-Star event on Trip Advisor.
Entrepreneur husband and wife team Ferruh Muktar and Susan Robinson founded Key Culinary Tours as a natural extension of their 14-year-old company, Key Concierge Services. “We went on a culinary tour of Miami and loved learning about the Cuban culture while indulging in wonderful food and history. We thought, wow—why don’t we offer this in Sarasota? And voila—we did,” says Robinson.
Experienced tour guides share their knowledge and passion for culture, tradition and top-notch cuisine, introducing guests to specially chosen restaurants, gourmet treats and exclusive local shops. “Our Longboat Key residents are natural foodies, so this is the perfect day trip for them,” says Longboat Key Chamber of Commerce President, Gail Loefgren.
The Best of St. Armands Circle and Sarasota
“The tour was very well organized and is a perfect way to spend your day learning history about Sarasota and sampling some of the best foods on the Circle. It’s the perfect tour for groups of friends and family. I rate this a 10-star event”, says Martha Will, former major in the U.S. Air Force and part-time Sarasota resident.
Realtors welcome out-of-town buyers with culinary tour gift certificates
Elizabeth Van Riper, realtor with Michael Saunders says, “Buyers are hungry to meet new people and learn about the area. What better way than to provide gift certificates for culinary tours in a small group atmosphere that fosters instant camaraderie.”
