An extensive process, Custom Cannabis led with a strategy that allowed for ongoing adjustments, while providing a solid foothold each step of the way.

Custom Cannabis Inc. (Custom Cannabis) announced today that it was granted its cultivation and medical sales licenses, bringing the company one step closer to delivering high-quality medicinal cannabis to patients.

The cultivation license allows Custom Cannabis to begin growing plants, and the medical sales license allows for the sale of plants and seeds directly to patients.

“This is a historic milestone for us,” said Jeff Nielsen, Founder and CEO of Custom Cannabis. “Our journey started more than five years ago when we purchased 4.5 acres of rural property in Claresholm, Alberta. Now with our first set of mother plants under our roof, we’re ready to begin the next phase - cultivating our first crop.”

Health Canada requires that all cannabis growers obtain a license before they begin growing plants. An extensive process, Custom Cannabis led with a strategy that allowed for ongoing adjustments, while providing a solid foothold each step of the way.

“Medicinal patients deserve a Canadian cannabis producer that puts them first,” said Robyn Wytinck, Founder and COO of Custom Cannabis. “We look forward to empowering patients on their journey toward wellness.”
