Louisville, KY (PRWEB) November 05, 2013
The Curtain Exchange, a custom drapes and curtains retail store in Louisville, KY, will kick off the holidays on Friday, November 8, 2013 by participating in the annual Holiday Walk at The Vogue from 5-8 p.m. Other participating retailers include Anabel’s, Oriental Rugs, Coal’s Pizza, Dandelion, LeBliss Salon & Spa and Live Well Chiropractic.
The Holiday Walk celebrates the start of the holiday season and has brought festive cheer to The Vogue for several consecutive years. Located in the St. Matthews neighborhood of Louisville, The Vogue is a mall housed in the historic Vogue Theater venue. Originally opened in 1939, the theater was known for its long run showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Shuttered in 1998, the theater was converted into the shopping center in 2006.
Visitors to the Vogue will kick off their holiday shopping in style, enjoy food and music and will be warmed by holiday-inspired beverages and coffee served by Heine Brothers Coffee. The Curtain Exchange and other retailers will also offer shoppers a chance to enter to win prizes as well.
“We’re so excited to be a part of the Holiday Walk again this year,” said Amanda Tyler, owner of The Curtain Exchange Louisville. “This event is a great way to kick off the holiday season. There’s plenty of entertainment and we always have fun with the raffle and giving away prizes!”
