(Headquarters: Tokyo, President/CEO: Hikaro Ohno) announced today that it ranked 9th in the 18th Japan Technology Fast 50, with revenue (sales) growth of 230.6% based on the past three accounting periods. Japan Technology Fast 50, announced annually by Deloitte Tohmatsu Group, is a ranking of the 50 fastest-growing Japanese companies in the technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) industries based on their revenue (sales) growth percentage the last three accounting periods.

The company's achievement of a 230.6% revenue (sales) growth rate is attributed to the following factors:
- Factor 1: Low churn rate due to increased customer satisfaction
CSC's cloud-based WAF "Shadankun," service for automation of AWS WAF "WafCharm" and AWS WAF Managed Rules deployed on AWS Marketplace are all monthly subscription-based services. Customer satisfaction is therefore extremely important. CSC continues to maintain a high level of satisfaction by providing consistent in-house operation, maintenance and sales services from the beginning, resulting in a low churn rate and service additions by existing customers.
- Factor 2: Developing new technologies through R&D and global expansion
As the methods of cyber-attacks on web systems are expected to become more sophisticated at an accelerated rate due to the evolution of AI technology around the world, CSC has been investing aggressively in the development of new technologies, and its growth has been driven by the expansion of the customer base it serves.
In 2019, CSC became the seventh company in the world to be certified as an AWS WAF Managed Rules seller on AWS Marketplace and developed a new attack detection AI engine that uses deep learning.
