Cycles of Change a Sponsor of Upcoming Moments of Change Conference
Lancaster, Calif. (PRWEB) September 17, 2013 -- Cycles of Change Recovery Services is pleased to announce its sponsorship of the upcoming Moments of Change Conference. The conference, which is scheduled for Sept. 23-26, 2013, will bring together professionals to discuss a variety of topics related to behavioral and mental health disorders.
The event website describes the 4 day conference as being about "pivotal opportunities—it’s about the critical touch points, the catalysts for transformation, and the places in time where lives are altered, healing enters in, and life starts over in a revolutionary new way." Workshops and presentations will cover topics such as intervention, recovery support, process addictions, eating disorders, and holistic/experiential treatment approaches.

In addition, Cycles of Change will sponsor conference speakers Dr. James Tracy and Bill Maher. The topic of this duo's dynamic workshop is Warming up to Change: Experiential and Psychodramatic Tools to Effectily Engage Clients in the Intervention Process.
Dr. Tracy, D.D.S., LAADC, CADCII, CET II, has been conducting Professional and Family Interventions for over 20 years. He is a nationally recognized speaker and educator in the areas of Impaired Health Care Professionals, Opiate Addiction secondary to Chronic Pain, and Systemic Family Interventions. Dr. Tracy is a member of the Association of Intervention Specialists (AIS).
Interventionist, Bill Maher, CADC, ACI, BRI II, is a nationally-recognized expert in the field of intervention for chemical dependency. Since 1989, he has provided intervention services, facilitating over 3,000 interventions nationally with a very high success rate for placing the addicted individual into treatment. Bill is a member of the National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC) and is a former Vice-President of the Association of Intervention Specialists (AIS).
