Headquartered in Wisconsin, Cypress Benefit Administrators, a Lucent Health company, has named Justin Meissner as its new director of sales.
Meissner will be heading up the overall sales effort for the third party administrator (TPA) firm from Cypress’s office in Denver, Col., focusing on captive insurance sales, reference-based pricing (RBP) group sales and overall self-funded benefit plans. He will help educate companies of all sizes – from 50 employees to thousands of employees – on their options for customizing employee benefits programs specific to their population needs.
Working in the TPA business for the past six years in high-level sales roles at Denver- and Dallas-based companies, Meissner brings strong employee benefits knowledge and training to his position at Cypress. He also has specialty experience in self-funding and stop loss coverage.

In addition to his work experience, Meissner earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a marketing focus from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is a Certified Self-Funding Specialist (CSFS) through the Health Care Administrators Association and a recipient of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) Self-Funding Certification.
