The webinar, titled Cybersecurity: Helping County Executives Avoid the Impending Storm, will be held October 22, 2020 from 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. eastern time. The webinar will feature nationally distinguished speakers who bring decades of cybersecurity industry experience and who have a keen understanding of the unique challenges facing county government leaders today. Among the speakers are members of the CyVision Technologies Board of Advisors – Paul Goldenberg and Jack Donohue. Goldenberg is former chair of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security State, Local, Tribal and Territorial Cybersecurity Committee while Donohue is the former 3-star Chief of Cyber Intelligence of the New York City Police Department.
Specifically, the webinar will help County Executives and other government and municipal managers gain a better understanding of the current cybersecurity landscape. In addition, they will learn critical steps which governments must take to mitigate cyberattacks as well as how county governments can be proactive in prioritizing cyber vulnerabilities and identifying high-value assets that may be directly or indirectly at risk. The webinar will also discuss the increasingly prevalent threats of disinformation and the significant impact that it can have on a governments ability to effectively support its constituents.
