Dan Parsons Takes Over Leadership of Rotor & Wing International As Executive Editor.
Former reporter for Defense Daily promoted to head of rotorcraft publication. Woodrow Bellamy III will remain focused on sister publication, Avionics, and associated events
ROCKVILLE, Md., August 2, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Dan Parsons is now Executive Editor of Rotor & Wing International, and will lead the publication's editorial vision moving forward. Parsons' experience includes spending the previous three years as ground forces reporter, covering both the Army and Marine Corps, for sister publication, Defense Daily. Parsons also chaired the Open Architecture Summit, an annual event focused on maximizing efficiency of innovation in the military through a modular, open systems approach.
Prior to that, Parsons spent time covering air warfare for Flightglobal and the military for National Defense Magazine. Before moving to Washington, D.C., he covered local government and legal issues for newspapers in Virginia and North Carolina, where he graduated from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem in 2006.
