Danby Appliances, one of North America’s leading manufacturers and distributors of compact appliances, has helped 10 charities this holiday season by donating over $10k worth of product.

Danby Appliances is not new to social media contests, in fact they run them almost monthly on their social media pages, but this month they decided to run a contest awarding those who need the winnings the most – local charities, foundations and shelters. The charities were nominated by the public and a random draw made the selection, each day for 10 business days. All those who nominated were entered into a draw to win a grand prize, complete with a multiple Danby appliances.

The winners were selected from all over North America and include shelters, food banks, rehabilitation and wellness centers, and resource centers for those struggling due to poverty and/or homelessness.
