Danik Hook Noted for its Uniqueness, Quality and Finish in "The Hardware Connection" Magazine Products Review
The Danik Hook, an amazingly simple and easy to use tool to quickly tie-down anything, wins over the new product testers of "The Hardware Connection" magazine.
POMONA, Calif., Dec. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Danik Hook, an amazingly simple and easy to use tool to quickly tie-down anything, wins over the new product testers of "The Hardware Connection" magazine.
The review comes just in time for independent hardware stores to stock something new for the holidays and offer the Danik Hook as a unique gift and handy tool that everyone can use.
The Hardware Connection Founder/Principal, Tom Chasteen, found out why the Danik Hook was the National Hardware show's 2017 winner of its prestigious Retailers' Choice Award for outstanding and innovative design of consumer products.
In his November products review column, "From Tom's Shop," Chasteen wrote "what makes the Danik Hook products so unique and what all of our testers mentioned in their comments was the quality and finish."
Those words were justification for the years of design testing by Daniel Austin, the inventor of the Danik Hook product line.
"It's not cheap stuff," said Austin. "My number one effort has always been quality. And once someone gets a Danik Hook in their hands, they see the quality."
Austin also thanks The Hardware Connection magazine for giving independent hardware store owners and managers a reason to stick their necks out by offering a new product such as Danik Hook.
The magazine noted, "Danik Hook has developed three unique products that may fit into stores that have a strong marine, sporting goods or automotive merchandise mix."
As a result of the article, Austin says he has already received purchase orders from independents in Michigan and Nevada.
"From Tom's Shop" reviewed the stainless steel Danik Hook for big jobs. It's a hassle-free way to attach a 3/8 to 5/8 inch diameter anchor rope line to secure anything up to 8,000 pounds, such as a small yacht. It sells for $39.95.
The testers also tried out the smaller thermoplastic, non-scratching Danik Hook which handles any 3/8 to 7/16 diameter line for anything up to 500 pounds, such as a leaning Christmas tree. It goes for $20.95.
They also put the new Danik Hook Adjustable Bungee cord through the ropes.
The versatile Adjustable Bungee lets anyone easily and quickly adjust and secure a single length of the elastic cord from six to 48 inches unstretched. It comes with one Danik Hook Mini adjustable universal line length hook for $13.95.
The testers used the Danik Hook products to adjust boat fenders, anchor buoys and even tie-down an airplane on the tarmac.
The article stated the testers all agreed the Danik Hooks easily and effectively clamp down on lines with rigid gripping edges that prevent slippage without fraying ropes or bungee cords.
Austin said he got a kick out of reading the fun The Hardware Connection magazine testers had in coming up with different applications for the Danik Hook. "There are some pretty creative people out there."
If consumers don't see a local retail outlet near them on DanikHook.com, the product line is also carried on the websites of several national retailers, including Amazon, Bass Pro Shops, Home Depot, Overton's, Sears, and Walmart.
All Danik Hooks carry a one year warranty.

Austin, an avid boater and journeyman machinist, made the first Danik Hook prototype in 2007 out of his desire to increase his time skiing on the Colorado River. He then modified the prototype to make it more functional and adaptable to an array of boats. Once he was happy with the anchor line hook's design, he named it after his daughters Danie and Nikki.
