PHOENIX, Oct. 2, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Dansons, a family-owned-and-operated business, received confirmation from the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida denying Traeger Grills' Motion for Preliminary Injunction. Traeger Grills had asked the Court to prevent Joe and Brian Traeger from appearing in advertisements for Dansons.
The Court held that the Traegers never assigned their rights of publicity to Traeger Grills when they sold the company in 2006. In the Order, the judge held "Given that the Defendants' interpretation of the provisions in the agreements is reasonable, Traeger Grills failed to demonstrate a substantial likelihood of success on the merits of their breach of contract claims."
"From the beginning, we have denied all claims made by Traeger Grills," said Jeff Thiessen, president of Dansons. "We are pleased with this initial decision and will continue to defend our company against all allegations."
Dansons mission is to provide global customers with world-class, competitive, innovative products while delivering superior results to all stakeholders and never compromising our integrity. Honoring God who has provided these opportunities and reinvesting in those in need. Dansons takes our integrity, and that of our team, very seriously and will continue to defend our company, brand and integrity.
