Datasource Consulting Names Grant Sutton Data Governance Practice Lead
Denver, CO (PRWEB) September 16, 2015 -- Datasource Consulting, LLC, a well-respected consulting firm specializing in Business Intelligence and Enterprise Data Management, names Grant Sutton Data Governance Practice Lead.
Grant brings 27 years of data management experience to the role. Over the course of his career, Grant has held senior positions for Fortune 500 companies in Business Intelligence and Data Governance. Most notably, Grant was the Vice President of Enterprise Performance Management for the Apollo Education Group for the University of Phoenix. While at the Apollo Group, he established common business definitions across the 30,000 person organization, rationalized 1,200 master data terms, and instated over 100 data stewards. Grant also delivered a business case for improved data governance to enhance the value of data and reduce costs by $2 million annually.
Grant joined Datasource Consulting in April of this year. During his tenure with Datasource, Grant has delivered significant value for our customers. He has led multiple engagements and identified opportunities to deliver solutions that extract value from data. Grant has also worked to refine Datasource‘s methodologies.
As the lead of the Data Governance practice, Grant will leverage his experience and know-how to enhance Datasource’s Data Governance approach and internal competencies to deliver more value to customers. He will also continue to lead client engagements, designed to deliver pragmatic solutions.
