Datex Participates in ECA 2019 Marketplace for 3PL and Last Mile Delivery Service Providers
CLEARWATER, Fla. (PRWEB) April 10, 2019 -- Supply chain technology solutions provider Datex will be participating in the ECA Marketplace 2019 event April 8-10th in Tucson, Arizona. The two-day event features one-on-one pre-arranged interviews to help companies learn about each other, generate referrals and form logistical partnerships. For more than 20 years, third party logistics providers (3PL), last mile delivery companies as well as transportation and logistics service providers have attended this annual event.
Designed to help attendees find solutions to specific needs, the event facilitates an array of solutions from shippers and carriers to vendors. Shippers that attend the event are given carrier profiles which highlight service capabilities, service territory, equipment and other information that can be used to evaluate transportation and logistics service providers. Next, the shippers rank the carriers on a weighted scale. Shippers then use the information to rank carriers on a weighted scale. Upon receiving the weighted scale profiling, interview schedules are created and provided to shippers on the first day of the ECA Marketplace during the Opening Reception. Fifteen-minute one-on-one interview sessions are scheduled back-to-back. Each shipper can have a maximum of 48 scheduled interviews over the allotted time during the event.
Information technology providers and other vendors provide information on the technological trends and latest technologies used by transportation and logistics providers who specialize in last mile delivery. ECA conference attendees are also introduced to a variety of transportation services.
The ECA Marketplace event also features quick, concise sessions on topics of interest. During the “Rapid Fire Chats” sessions, ECA Marketplace attendees will be able to learn about topics that affect their companies as well as ways to enhance their businesses. These sessions are designed to be interactive so that members can learn from each other as well as industry experts.
